Welcome! I’m Dr. Erfan Salloum, a specialist orthodontist in Dublin, dedicated to helping patients achieve confident, healthy, and functional smiles. My focus is on delivering world-class orthodontic care through modern treatments like clear aligners, lingual braces, and customised smile solutions for teens and adults alike.

Orthodontics isn’t just my job; it’s something I genuinely enjoy. Patients might choose me as their specialist orthodontist because my approach is based on precision, to optimise function and aesthetics and provide personalised care. I’ve completed extensive academic training as well as further education programmes, including a fellowship in aligner therapy and the FACE (Functional and Cosmetic Excellence) hands-on course in Parma. I also hold unique qualifications, including membership on the European Board of Aligner Orthodontics and active membership in both the European and World Societies of Lingual Orthodontics.
This allows me to offer a broad range of evidence-based treatments. While all orthodontists on the specialist register are well trained and provide high-quality care, my experience across different techniques and philosophies, from advanced lingual braces and clear aligners to surgical and interdisciplinary orthodontics, skeletal expansion with MARPE and non-surgical options using TADs, means I can help find the most suitable treatment for each patient without relying on just one method.
Dentistry is truly in my DNA. I was born in Syria into a family where smiles were a way of life. My father is a world-renowned maxillofacial surgeon, and my mother is a general dentist. From an early age, I was immersed in the world of dental care and patient service.
In 2008, I qualified as a dentist, and my passion for orthodontics quickly grew while working in both hospitals and private practices. This passion led me to advanced training across some of Europe’s most prestigious institutions.
In 2024, I became the first and only orthodontist in Ireland to earn diplomate status from the European Board of Aligner Orthodontics (EBAO), highlighting my clinical excellence in clear aligner therapy. I’m also Ireland’s only active member of both the European and World Societies of Lingual Orthodontics (ESLO & WSLO).

Outside the clinic, I love spending time with my wife, Nikita, and our dogs, Bella and Skye. Dublin is home, and I enjoy staying active, reading, and exploring nature. I was also proud to win the title of Ireland’s Natural Bodybuilding Champion for three consecutive years and have competed at the world level.
